Well, I think I'm starting to. I mean, it's not like it's been all partying and having fun, but I feel getting used to the city and its lovely from-all-over-the-world inhabitants. Plus, so far the school has been quite exciting, and I really feel I'm learning loads of things, most of them very useful for my future. These week while hearing about Avid non-linear system I was wondering how perceptive was Fernando Pessoa when he wrote: Primeiro estranha-se, depois entranha-se. Yes, I know he was speaking of Coca-Cola, but he also had the experience of changing from one country to another, so he knew what he was speaking. Though I never felt that an alien here. I mean, it was my dream since I was twelve, it is like I already know the city by heart (well, the most touristic areas, anyway), but apart from the strange concept of good food that they have, is quite homely around. People are nicer than one could thought about, if you keep an eye for bargains you can even spend less in food and other stuff than I would in Portugal, and the respect they have for culture and nature is quite inspiring. Going to the park just to read is not being nerd around here, it's being NORMAL. And I love to feel normal once in a while, thank you a lot. :D

LadyShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17118582993298182028noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1977682092056421267.post-2793087462691127882009-04-13T10:49:00.000-07:002009-04-13T10:56:15.672-07:00Sun in the streets of London....
copyright Sara Galvao 2009

LadyShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17118582993298182028noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1977682092056421267.post-20221278230800396572009-04-02T14:38:00.000-07:002009-04-02T14:39:21.979-07:00I really, really must visit Scotland...http://uk.news.yahoo.com/21/20090402/tuk-snap-we-ve-got-a-ghost-photo-too-6323e80.htmlLadyShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17118582993298182028noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1977682092056421267.post-24370431689097634432009-04-01T15:52:00.000-07:002009-04-01T16:02:45.293-07:00Things I just LOOOOVE, here1. Not that well, I'm afraid. First of all, that city is f*cking big. Thank the gods it's plain, so you can walk everywhere, and if you're a sadistic as myself, you can try to go Victoria Station - Tate Modern in the morning, and then back (for lunch at the Victoria's Subway - which ISN'T the Underground), and then catch the bus to the British Museum (Tottenham Court Rd), then spend one and a half our inside looking at the mummies, catch the bus again to Notting Hill, walk all the way through Portobello Rd, and then decide to come back to Victoria by the Hyde Park. Then you'll know how mad I am.

And never, never, never, start eating cookies on Hyde Park. Take a close look to the geese & ducks. They're dangerous. They have teeth.LadyShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17118582993298182028noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1977682092056421267.post-46780116797245630382008-10-07T11:41:00.000-07:002008-10-07T11:44:05.328-07:00New Times Ahead(no, it ain't the tagline for the new Potter...)

After www.saricesartisticas.blogspot.com, I decided to close it (after all, it was my university life blog, and I'm not there anymore... - easy on the copyright, Todd Haynes...)

And 'cause a new life has just begun (I hope), or is about to (next week my first time in London, then on March I'll close my old blog and open this one, officially), well... what the heck.LadyShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17118582993298182028noreply@blogger.com1
